Designed by Stanley Thompson, Uplands first opened in 1922 as an eighteen-hole private course. In 1989, urban sprawl engulfed half of the course and it became a nine-hole gem in the middle of the city. The current nine holes crisscross a forested valley filled with mature trees. Your golf game here will not only be enjoyable but also filled with some of the best scenery available in Toronto and its surrounding area. The fourth and eighth holes are two of the most spectacular par threes in the Southern Ontario Region.
With a vertical drop of some 100 feet and slopes of varying difficulty averaging 1000 feet in length; Uplands is the perfect environment to learn skiing for beginners of all ages—but especially for children. Our instructors are all certified and use CSIA and CASI teaching methods that effectively develop skill and confidence in the skiers and snowboarders of all ages.
Welcome to Uplands Golf & Ski Club's restaurant & patio, where you can enjoy delicious meals with great views of our golf course. Whether you're dining after a round of golf or just soaking in the scenery, our patio offers a perfect blend of relaxation and comfort.
