Try Golf
with a Focus on Fun for New Junior Golfers!
Let your child take their first swing without breaking the bank! Our Try Golf programs offer free opportunities for youth to explore golf at participating GolfNorth facilities. Try Golf programs include a variety of ways to interact with golf—welcome sessions for juniors, free putting games, and introductions to the basics of golf (like how to hold a club!)
We encourage you to keep an eye out on upcoming Try Golf programs to get your junior out on the course!

With the basics underway, it’s time to hit the course! Our designated junior-friendly courses make playing easy, with junior tees for a shorter course.
Plus, enjoy junior rates at all our facilities. There are also limited spots available in our Junior House League!
From beginners taking their first swings to seasoned players refining their techniques, our Junior House League program fosters a love for the game while instilling valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship.
Perfect for golfers aged 9-17!
Greg is a 20 year Class A Member of the PGA of Canada and has been with GolfNorth for the past 15 seasons. He has extensive knowledge in Junior development with gaining experience from planning and executing programs from not only his tenure with GolfNorth, but with other clubs including Northridge GC, Ingersoll GC and Hamilton G&CC.
He is looking forward to growing the game at the junior level through creative and fun programming opportunities throughout the GolfNorth family of courses.
